some recent photos - advice welcome

The last two she just refused to look at the camera this day but I was still trying to get the color right and skin tone to look right but still struggling with that.

Love them!! So beautiful!! They look a little soft. I would sharpen them a little bit. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful!! their eyes are so striking! I wish my daughter would start walking already. She's about a week old than your's.

thanks for the advice! I'll try that, I haven't sharpened at all yet!

and thanks so much for the compliments on my baby girl, she's so much fun. Your sweet girl will walk soon and you'll be chasing her everywhere! I take care of the little boy a few days a week - he does have beautiful eyes, I can't seem to do them justice yet!

Thank you!! I think you did do his eyes justice, just needs more light in them like in the second pic of your daughter's eyes. They'll looks more striking after you sharpen a little too.

More light in them as in editing? Her eyes pretty much came out of the camera like that - sometimes I get lucky haha When her eyes get the natural light in them (like when she's looking up) they really shine but I can't expect everyone to look up into the light right? I did try some new editing techniques last night and it is improvement already - thanks again! I'll get out and take some more photos this weekend and update again - hopefully you'll see some improvement :)

I ment more light in them, like catchlights when taking the picture. There are beautiful ones in the second picture.
