I was a member of the April 2012 due date club here on TWW. It was a fantastic group of moms and I was very lucky to have their support throughout my pregnancy. My son Max was born on April 27th with a congenital heart defect. We had the diagnosis at 18 weeks and prepared ourselves for the surgeries he would need. He did so well in the NICU and we had so much hope for a good outcome. The morning of his scheduled surgery, his heart stopped and the doctors were not able to get it started again. He died on May 4th. My heart is broken and I miss my baby so much. I loved being his mom for that week and wish I could hold him one more time.

My husband and I have decided to start trying again and really want to have a little brother or sister for Max. I hope to see this side of the forums again soon! Here is a link to our blog about Max. We still update it from time to time.
