Jean you have some serious restraint!!

I've been buying gender neutral items just because I like the colors. Their room is green with brown furniture but I don't consider that boyish.

My next twin check in is next week. The last time we were pretty sure A is a boy but weren't100% sure if B was a girl or not.

I feel little flutters every now and then but nothing major. I'm hoping that starts soon. Tomorrow I'll be18 weeks. :D

That would be so perfect to have boy and girl twins! We've just decided to have a gender reveal party since when we find out in 4 weeks bc we can't wait!

Can't wait to hear what you ladies are having!

I had my anatomy scan last week. Had to go do a level 2 ultrasound bc they thought they saw a bright spot on its stomach. Level 2 Dr said this happens a lot now with anatomy scans and ultrasound equipment. Still freaked us out royally though!!!

Thank God everything is fine. Spot wasn't there this week. Just be careful not to get too worked up. My friend was told of possible cord problems from the anatomy scan and she has a perfectly healthy 5 month old now. Kind makes you wonder, if all this extra information is really beneficial or not. Just made my blood pressure sky high for a week!

Yeah... I don't think ultrasounds are that reliable. My friend was also told to deliver at a high risk hospital bc the baby had a protruding tongue (stuck it's tongue out a lot). Everything was fine though. As a labor and delivery nurse I've also seen the dr freak out over kidney scans in utero as well when 90% of the time everything is fine!

Hi everyone,

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. We have a boy and a girl! We had a fetal echo cardiogram per the OB's instructions. He said it was there standard practice for IVF babies. Everything came out great!

Today I am 25 weeks exactly. Time continues to go slow and fast at the same time. I'm still working but working 2 days at home. I'm exhausted all the time.

Both babies have anterior placentas so although I feel kicks I don't think I feel as much as most moms to be. But I think overall that might be a good thing because sometimes I feel freaked out that my body isn't my body.

They say 37 weeks is common with twins and each time I'm measured my uterus is about 2 weeks ahead. So that means 12 more weeks!

I hope everyone else is doing great! We're about to all have our babies in our arms soon!

That's so exciting puppymom!! A boy and a girl will be awesome!

I'm having a girl but I also found out my placenta is covering my cervix. So if it doesn't move by 28 weeks I'll have to have a c-section at 37 weeks. :/ which really stinks bc I've already had a vaginal delivery with my son 7 years ago. Oh well... As long as she's healthy.

Do you feel like you'd be missing out if you had a c section, especially since you've delivered vaginally before? My coworker felt like she got gypped because she had a c section. I feel okay either way but who knows if that'll change.

I just really wanted to go through the labor process with my husband (bc before my ex husband left and I was alone). Recovery is also longer and more difficult. But like I said in the big picture of things a healthy baby is most important.

This is kind of random but how many embryos do you all have left? We have 6 and while there's a part of me who'd love to have a big family. I don't know if we can financially and if I can physically handle 6 more children (assuming they would all take). Have you all thought about what you'd do with extra embryos? Donate? Discard? Birth control until use them just in case you got pregnant on your own?

Yay! So excited to see some action on this board! :-)

Puppy mom- congrats on the boy girl combo! Perfection. That is so exciting. I'm sure your kicks will pick up. Mine have picked up considerably in the last week, and I'm at 27 now. Huge difference.

Sorry to hear about the possible c section tess. I understand many women don't want that. Personally I just want the baby out and healthy. So, so much of this whole process hasnt been routine. I don't think I would feel any more jipped than I already do compared to people who didn't have to go through ivf.

As far as embryos, we don't have any frozen. Husband said he would do ivf again if we had to. I just laughed. Not sure where that money would come from- or if I could handle this while process over again, esp with a little one running around!!!

Had my 27 week check up today and they actually found my blood sugar levels after the drink to be low. Explains why I'm so pissy when I'm hungry lately ;-)

Sooooo...... I just had an interesting experience. I'm working from home today and was in the zone typing when I realized my shirt was wet. But all in one spot where my left nipple is. Out of curiosity I squee the nipple and a couple small drops came out. That was a dose of reality! I've been feeling them move a lot more today so between that and now this... Just wow....

I have a lot of frozen embies and often think what to do with them. Due to KY tubes I'll never be able to have children naturally. The storage fee doesn't too bad for now but I don't if that will change. Even if we have a bunch more children we still would have leftovers. I couldn't destroy them or donate them to science. If we end up having more children and feel we're done and have leftover embies I think I might donate them to give them a chance at life. My husband isn't too sure whatever stands but is thinking somewhat along the same lines as me.
