Hello all you lovely ladies. Like most of you I have searched this site endlessly hoping and praying that one say it would be me writing on here, and what do you know, here am!!! A little background, me and my partner have not been trying but not preventing for a year now, last year I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am one of those who has skinny PCOS as in quite petite and the only symptoms of this disorder I have are swollen ovaries with the string of pearl folicules and severe abdominal pain with irregular to no ovulation. I found out on April the 2nd that I am pregnant!
I have been TTC for almost 2 years!!! I am 34, DH is 32. I had bloodwork done last month and tests came back normal for DH and I. I actually changed jobs and insurance because I figured I was going to need coverage for fertility treatments! Was scheduled for a HSG next week but I am going to have to cancel because I got the BFP yesterday! Still in shock and planning to tell DH tonight.
Normally I start spotting about 5 or 6 days before I start my period. So my major sign that something was up was that I only had one day of a tiny bit of spotting on DPO 8 and then it stopped
I loved scouring this site while I was trying to conceive...here are my symptoms... 1 dpo to 10dpo spotting, dark brown 7 dpo implantation dip, sore bb, nausea, tired 8 dpo sore bb, tired, nausea assumed AF was on the way 9 dpo really sore bb, tired, nausea- did not affect appetite. Tested, faint pos? 10 dpo really sore bb, tired, nausea BFP!
My partner and I have been trying to conceive for 17 Months! It has been a really long road and there have been many, many, many tears. My partner was an adamant believer that it would just happen when it is suppose to happen... thus the reason I held out for a whole year before heading to the Doctors!
So after the longest year of my life had passed, in September 2011 we headed to the doctors for some initial investigations. Only too discover I have PCOS.
This website has given me hope over the last few months and I hope my story does the same for someone. I got off BC in May 2011, and it was very unpleasant to say the least. I gained 12 pounds in 2 months (I always watch what I eat and exercise 4x a week), my hair started falling out, my skin went from normal to extremely oily and acne prone. And lastly my cycles ranged from 43 - 63 days and I would usually spot for a few days before my period even started. My hair and skin calmed down after about 6 months but my cycles never returned to normal. This cycle I O'ed on day 31.
I promised myself I would share my ttc story because this site helped me so much!!! I finally got my BFP after trying for about 4 months! These were my symptoms!
Hi there, I just wanted to share my story as my cycle is very different. I was unable to find many stories like mine but whenever did I was filled with hope. Ever since I stopped taking the Nuva Ring in May, I have had spotting from about 3DPO that lasted five to seven days. Each time I saw it, it broke my heart because in my mind that meant, no BFP this month.
5 DPO - Spotting (brown) started which was earlier than any other cycle 6 DPO- Spotting (tan) 7 DPO - Spotting increased and looked reddish brown, felt gassy 8 DPO- Spotting decreased dramatically and looked beigey, not brown 9 DPO- BFP using a FRER, also called doc to tell her about the spotting and went in for blood work. Need to wait a couple of days. BTW, spotting has decreased. A drop of beigey, creamy CM. 10 - DPO, test again with FRER and darker second line. Spotting is not really spotting anymore. It's just beigey CM.
