Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP with Irregular Cycles

BFP by DPO! 13DPO

After trawling the internet and reading 2ww success stories I’m so happy to share mine again! This is my 3rd pregnancy after TTC for approx 4 months. AF has only returned for 5 months as I’m still breastfeeding my 22mo DD. 1dpo: nothing 2-6dpo: fuller boobs and sensitive nipples (this symptom remains during the entire 2ww). 7dpo: frequent urination, tired, stretchy yellow white discharge like before AF usually, light cramps in evening :( at 10pm had a painful pinching in uterus for about 2 min - felt strange. 8dpo: Woke up with light cramps, moody. 9dpo: Cramps in AM, feels like AF coming. Little yellow white discharge. No cramps in day and PM. Gassy at night. 10dpo: Only light cramps in the morning. Constipation at night. Nausea and very tired during day. Heartburn after dinner. 11dpo: Constipation. Very tired. 12dpo: Weird sharp pain right side uterus for about a minute. 13dpo: Light cramps in morning. Elevated body temp: Shooting pains in nipples. So tired and irritable by 1pm. BFP at 1.30pm!!

BFP After 5 Years of Trying!

I have read so many stories on TWW for the past five years, I always hoped I could write one too. And here I am! *Fair warning, this is not one of those Symptom by CD. Those are super helpful when you are scouring TWW for hopeful insight, however, I was not able to catalogue my symptoms. This is also a lengthy post. I am 22 and DH is 27. Before I begin I want to explain that this cycle was unlike any other. When you've been TTC for so long it is almost inevitable to begin to learn to "listen" to what your body it saying. Since tracking my ovulation via FertilityFriend and the occasional ovulation testing, I learned how my body would feel during ovulation. Usually occurring on the left side of my lower abdomen, I could feel a small pinching throughout the day. My breast would become sore on the sides for two weeks, then the day before AF arrives my breast were no longer sore. This was my indication of ovulation. Two weeks later AF would arrive like clockwork. This cycle I did not feel any of my normal ovulation symptoms. So much so I assumed I was having an anovulatory cycle. My cycles used to be extremely irregular: six months without a cycle for example. However, in the past year they have regulated to a 28 to 35 day cycle with ovulation occurring around CD17-CD20. CD27 rolls around and I assume I am out this month since my breast are becoming sore and DH and I haven’t (TMI) BD in the way you make a baby. CD29: I am feeling pre-AF cramps. So really think I am out. CD 30 TMI: after using the restroom I found peach colored discharge upon wiping. I assumed this was my period. In the past I have had multiple periods that consisted of spotting of light brown to dark red and a flow light enough for only a panty liner. This lasted until CD32. I did have the thought this could be implantation bleeding but five years of TTC slightly smashed that hope. CD34: Got my faint BFP in the evening yesterday after deciding to test for some reason. When I saw the line, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me or it was a faulty test. But a pink line is a pink line. CD35: Tested again today. Actually two times, out of disbelief. Both BFP. The darkness of the line has not changed since last night, but I know it takes two days for the HGC to double. Thinking back on how I was feeling before I knew I was pregnant I did have a few symptoms, though I cannot tell when in my cycle I experienced them. List of Symptoms: Extremely gassy. This is of no attempt to be modest, I barely pass gas unless I ate something unhealthy. But the past two weeks, just terrible. DH even noticed. I kept smelling a fishy smell everywhere, but it was and still is no where to be found. And I am the only one who can smell it. Lucky me. Very sensitive and lots of tears. Crying during movies is normal for me, but I’ve been ugly crying at a lot of stuff. Things that aren’t even sad. I am feeling lots of pinching and pulling in my lower abdomen. It feels as though I am flexing below my belly button. So overall, I honestly don't feel pregnant. And I am still in disbelief.. It happens you guys, just be patient and remain hopeful. the pain is real and can overcome you if you let it. Fingers crossed for you.

BPF 8 DPO - 41 Years Young - Natural Pregnancy

Hi ladies, Thank you for posting your stories on this website - you have helped us all to get through this awful two-week wait!! I am very surprised to be writing this. I have a son that was born 11 years ago (at 30 years old), and we never restarted using birth control after I had him. I figured that I would have another one at some point - so I was in no rush for it to happen. Little did I know that 11 years would go by! When I was 39, I naturally got pregnant, and I was in total shock because I figured that if it had not happened yet- it wasn't going to. After I had accepted that my husband and I were going to be 60 and 65 respectively when this one is 20 - I got excited - but I miscarried at 9 weeks. I think that I took that pregnancy for granted - drinking coffee, weight lifting, stressed about work, etc. I think that I thought that it would work the same way as when I was 30. Boy was I wrong! I ended up seeing a reproductive endocrinologist about 5 months ago, and I had low ovarian reserve and was diagnosed with "unexplained fertility." My husband and I became serious about trying about 3 months ago during my first femara/ovidrel cycle. That cycle failed, and I really heated being on those drugs. My basal temp was all over the place during that month. After that, I started reading everything on the subject, and started with prenatal vitamins, vitamin E, vitex, fish oil, coq10 as well as a handful of other supplements. I also used progesterone crème and magnesium lotion. This month, I started acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and fertility smoothies. Here are my symptoms: 3 DPO - current: excess white creamy mucous, very tired (had to take a nap in the afternoon 2x this week - luckily I work from home), very quick bouts of boob and back soreness, felt strange heavy feeling in my uterus when I tried to lift something heavy 5 DPO - mild cramping/tingling for 2 hours 8 DPO - lots of tingling/heart beat between my left ovary and belly button (but lower) I am hoping that this one sticks - I know that the chance of miscarriage is high at my age (41). Good luck everyone!!

34 Years Old. TTC #3 for 11 months. BFP

Hey everyone.... I am on here sharing again for the 2nd time. My first time sharing was after struggling with secondary infertility in 2015. I have a pretty amazing background testimony preceding this pregnancy and if you have time feel free to look it up. Was entered Oct / 2015 and I believe it was titled "our testimony". It is way more action packed than this entry! So hubby and I have been trying for about 11 months after having our 2nd child. Nothing was happening. We sold our home and moved into my parents while waiting for our house to be built and I had noticed I didnt really have a period since April. Not really anything new for me, my cycles are always irregular. I had some spotting at the end of June for 3 days but again, not out of the norm so I didn't think too much about it. Thought it was just another wonky cycle with no ovulation. Anyways so then July 16th I have some light pink spotting when I wipe and it only lasts that night. The next morning I wake up and realize I threw my shoulder out along with my neck and it's so painful! I tell myself I will buy some muscle relaxants on the way home. So I stopped by wal mart and thought what if I am pregnant? Maybe I should rule it out before taking these. So I go home and POS and its blazing a positive line before the control line shows up. I was so happy but I am also confused. How long have I been pregnant? I spotted late June as well so it's hard to tell. I also have had very little symptoms... I have had no nausea, no breast pain just some mild heaviness, but one thing that did strike me as odd was a few weeks ago I felt like there was a lot of pulling and stretching behind my belly button. Something I usually get after 4 months... I attributed it to lifting my toddler and maybe tweaking something and to this day by abdominal muscles are slightly achy and behind my belly button and also since i found out i have had lower aching in my back. Might be because I know I am pregnant now but I swear I noticed more symptoms after finding out. I have a doctor's appointment booked for Monday and hopefully I will be able to find out how far along I am around then:) Anyhow I just feel so thankful after our struggle to be able to be pregnant again. I'm thankful to God and the plans he has for each one of us. I hold the women on this site very dear to my heart and I know how torturous the wait can be. Praying you all see your BFP soon!

We tried the Egg meets Sperm plan, this was our 8th month but first time trying the plan. Ovulated the 15 (day after what would have been my due date!) confirmed by OPK. Hot flashes. Bloating. Pelvic pain. (Neg. test) Diarrhea. 10DPO- Cervix high and very soft. Cm is creamy/white ewcm, lots of it. Constipation. Tender breasts. Nauseous. (neg. test) 11DPO: Nauseous. Feeling off. Moody. (neg. test) 12DPo: Feeling very down, not like myself. (Neg. test.) 13 DPO: POSITIVE. Diarrhea (huge sign for me.) feeling achy and very heavy in the midsection like I did when I was starting to show with my first pregnancy. Woke up feeling sick right away. Now I'm just hungry. Now to keep my thoughts positive and hope that this baby is strong and will stay with us. Hope this helps for someone.

BFP after diagnosed with POF in June of 2017

Hello all! I am 29 years old and I was diagnosed with POF in June of 2017 a month after my 28th Birthday. Me and my husband we're trying so hard to conceive our 1st child together as I already have a 8 year old from a previous marriage(widow) The doctors just wrote me off even though I didn't understand the diagnosis nor did anyone in my family have it. We continued to test periodically to determine if this was the real and true diagnosis because I had taken out my mirena in Feb 2017 but i never had normal periods since 16 due to birth control. But God!!!! I went in on April 18th 2018 to the ER and they happen to give me a cat scan and told me I had a 23 mm sized cyst on my right ovary and I was devastated. I didn't know what to do and where to go. Keep in mind that after I was diagnosed with POF in June of 2017, I didn't know anything the doctors just sent me on my way.... I can honestly say I went through the lack of sleep and hot flashes stage horribly and a lot of weight gain, but I never not once took the HRT that they prescribed. ( I still have the bottle of estrace unused) Honestly I did nothing different. I didn't diet, eat differently or anything. My diagnosis sent me into a deep depression because this was just too much to handle and my dear daughter kept asking for a live in brother or sister. With the grace of God, and a ton of research on this page and google...I had saw that the size of a mature egg follicle was between 22-24 mm. I then thought was I preparing to ovulate on the CT scan?? Was that an egg??? Well after bugging my doctors to look into it. They ran my estrogen and fsh and my diagnosis was completely reversed and I call that a miracle! Not only was my diagnosis reversed, but my ultrasound done on May 10th,18 ( My deceased 1st husband's birthday which is not coincidental) showed that the cyst was ruptured and no longer on my ovary. 6 days later on 5/16 I felt strange, sore boobs, achy body, and a lot of little pressure near my ovary. I tested a faint but strong positive on a frer. I couldn't believe my eyes. I went to the doctor on 5/17 my 10 month wedding anniversary and they took urine on office it was negative. Most likely due to me peeing a million times and drinking before the 330 pm appt. I wasn't disappointed I just knew that God wouldn't let me down. I am pleased to say that my blood came back positive for pregnancy!!!! This has inspired me to share my story because the doctor gave me only a less that 5 percent chance to conceive and that was only using IVF with donor eggs because my amh was .03. I posted my results so you guys can see how a miracle works!! I am a walking testimony and I pray that he touches and heals all of our bodies. Thank you all for reading my story. This has been one crazy year!!! My husband and I are so blessed and ecstatic! Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I go back Monday to continue to check my levels but I'm confident that God makes no mistakes. I just took a First response rapid result this morning knowing the sensitivity is 50-100 HCG level from what I researched.. i'm still researching but as dark as the line is, it provides me comfort to know that my HCG levels are rising significantly. Have a blessed day!!! Today my HCG blood came back 240 miu from 25 on 5/17!

Finally!!!! Bfp 2nd round of clomid 50 mg!!!

Hey, I'm 25 (as of two days ago) ....This is my first pregnancy. We actively tried for 8 months Before clomid. I had low hopes bc my period is extremely irregular! So I got blood work done , the culprit was high testosterone which had been preventing me from ovulating ! My doctor scheduled a D&C to clean out all the linings of cycles past bc she wanted me to have "a spring cleaning " before clomid.!! The first round was difficult for me & ovulation was EXTREMELY painful afterwards I had every symptom I could find on the internet and just "knew" I was pregnant! I was crushed when af came . Second round was much easier and laid back and I honestly assumed I had not ovulated bc besides some swelling in my ovaries I never felt the pain i felt the cycle before. My first cycle day 21 prog test was 22.6 the second round it was only 5 & I cried when I got the news bc I knew that meant i didn't ovulate and this month was a bust!!! Few days later I started getting all the usual symptoms of pms except the cramps and bloating would come and go rather than straight into full gear per usual and instead of just my nipples being sore like normal my breast were extremely sore on the sides too . I slept for an entire day as well but I had completely ruled pregnancy out and assumed the weird pms was due to the clomid or either anovulation .My doctor upped my dose to 100 mg and I was going to start my next round without af bc I thought she wasnt going to show due to me allegedly not ovulating that month! When my period was four days late I decided I would take one last test b4 I started the pills bc i got bfn the day of and day after my missed period .......i got a bfp !!!! Then another one the next day bc I couldn't believe it !! God is so good bc i was extremely discouraged and on the brink of just giving up ttc all together for awhile. The only thing I did different this month was use 2g of preseed instead of 1g even though he didn't like it! And i also took mucinex extra strength pill during my fertile window and prayed extremely hard bc at the end of the day regardless of how hard we try and what all we do to get a bfp God has the final say.i genuinely believe he heard my sincere, humble cry and blessed me thanks for reading.......!!!! read psalm 113 when you build a genuine relationship with God he will grant you the desires of your heart !

Natural BFP after 16 months!

This is my second time posting here, the first one was a chemical. After a second chemical and a few months later, here I am again! I hope this may help people with long and irregular cycles: I've had cycles ranging from 29 to 61 days, completely unpredictable, a few anovulatory. Vitex Agnus Castus made them 32-34 days long and regular! It did not work that well until I took the right dose, I needed 1000mg twice per day. I am not suggesting it's the right dose for everyone, but if Vitex's kinda working for you but not quite, then it may be a good idea to up the dose. Main symptom was light cramps from 7dpo onwards. I had it with my chemical pregnancy too, but it lasted a lot longer this time. Also, very dry after ovulation which is unusual for me. 1-6 dpo - Sore boobs, but I always get them after ov, so not a symptom 7 dpo - Light cramps, different than AF cramps and very similar to the ones I had with my chemical. 8 dpo - Cramps, mild nausea (not sure if it was pregnancy related) 9/10 dpo - Cramps, stark white BFN, feeling low 11 dpo - An invisible line on a cheapie, tested with a FRER and the faintest line appeared! BFP 12 dpo - Fearing another chemical, IC BFN, FRER super faint line, clear BFP on a 20mUI test 13 dpo - Finally a good line on a FRER, digi says 1-2 weeks pregnant! Starting to believe it now. As a side note, expensive test claiming to have high sensitivity are really not that reliable. I got a very good line on a 20mUI test, unknown brand, while 12.5mUI FRER was almost invisible and the 10mUI IC was stark white! Hope this one sticks and good luck to everyone!

Proved the doctors wrong!

Hi All. I conceived my little belly bean exactly 4 weeks ago today (17th Jan- I'm now technically 6 weeks pregnant), and what a surprise that was. I have very badly polycystic ovaries and had only had a period once every few months for the last 2-3 years, the doctors advised me about 18 months ago that I would probably find it difficult conceiving naturally and that it potentially wouldn't ever happen for me. Anyways January was the first month we had tried... I got a positive OPK on 17th Jan and it was first time lucky, so ner ner doctors! :) 1dpo - Sore boobs started straight away and has got progressively worse every day- it was like hormonal AF boob pain at first but then within 2-3 days became that agonising I couldn't lay on my front or cuddle my other half. I knew I was pregnant from this alone! 3dpo- Felt extremely frisky?! 7dpo- Very bad back ache 8dpo- Extremely emotional and angry fir no reason, bloated, craving ALL the bad foods 9dpo- Absolutely exhausted. Tried a cheap ebay dip pregnancy test knowing it was too early- BFN 10dpo- Other half took me away for a dirty weekend which was ruined by my constant napping- very unlike me and we both knew at this point something was different! I had never felt so tired in my life- this fatigue has also carried on since this point! 11dpo- Cheap dip pregnancy test BFN. We were both a little sad. 12dpo- I just knew I was pregnant. I did tests in the morning and evening and they were negative. I got in the shower after the second test then looked at it again once i'd got out.. there was a very very faint line (almost nothing at all), so I checked others in the bin- they had them too! I convinced myself they were evap lines and me and OH went and bought some better tests. The lines on both these tests were much stronger but still very faint (see pic included)... I sent OH to the shop again for a 5 day early test Clear Blue test. I did that at 4am after waking in the middle of the night and it said not pregnant. 13dpo- I was a little sad all day about the negative result, but still hopeful. I bought a "how many days" test and a standard ClearBlue test. I did the clear blue on my lunch at work and the blue line was there! Pregnant! 14dpo- I did the Clear Blue how many days test in the morning and it said 1-2 weeks pregnant :) Since finding out for sure the main side effects up to 6 weeks pregnant have been tiredness, cramping, extremely emotional and EXCRUITATING BREASTS. Baby dust to all xxx :)
