BFP Stories

Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP Short Luteal Phase

When the time is right, it will happen!

Eight months of trying and I was starting to question everything and feel overwhelmed with fertility information --Am i taking the right vitamins? Taking pineapples for implantation (just the core!)? Pre-seed? Laying down for 30 min after BD? So many things to think about. And then one morning, a faint, very faint line. I. could. not. believe. it. But here I am 5 days after my first BFP feeling so happy and wanted to share any information with you girls.

Background: I'm really healthy and thought getting pregnant would be a breeze (how wrong I was!) After starting temping each morning I realized my luteal phase was only 9 days. The month I got my BFP was the first month I started taking 200mg of progesterone, orally, after ovulation. I think this was the main factor that contributed to my BFP.

1-5DPO: Nothing.
6DPO: Light cramping. This is normal for me as I always get cramping around this time
7DPO: Still light cramping, thinking AF is on her way. Literally told my husband that I was 99.7% sure I wasn't pregnant this month.
8DPO: Went to the bathroom and had VERY light pink. I just thought I was going to start my period very early this month and was bummed. But I think this was implantation bleeding. Also had temp drop this day.
9DPO: Temp back up. Still light cramping
10DPO: Cramping, took my first test and had a pretty obvious Evap line. But this got me excited!
11DPO: Took a test and the faintest of faint BFP!
12-15DPO: No big changes. Have had very light cramping on an off since 6dpo but nothing major and BFP getting darker. BBs are getting more sore. I've had a lot of CM for the past week. And STARVING all day!

What I think made a difference: For me the Progesterone really helped keep little bean nice and happy. Also we used less pre-seed during BD and just tried to naturally get things going. Also eating healthy! I don't drink alcohol or any caffeine and have cut back on processed foods to try to keep hormones balanced.

It will happen! Stay positive, love yourself and the amazing things your body can do. And I liked to remind myself "Your body was made to do this! You got this girl!" :) xxoo

BFP after 3 miscarriages in a row

It is with caution that I share my story. I suffered 3 chemical pregnancies since Oct 2016. Oct, Dec, and most recently May of this year. I have one 2.5 y.o. daughter. I acquired a gluten intolerance after giving birth to my daughter. Long story short, I was very sick for nearly 2 years after her birth; colds, flus, illnesses left and right, ER visits, Gyno visits, you name it! I couldn't have sex due to pain and infections. It hurt. I felt terrible almost every day. We decided to try for another baby anyway. We started trying Sept 2016 and I got pregnant in Oct! It ended... Tried again almost right away and boom, got pregnant in Dec! It ended...After the 2nd m/c I decided I needed to see a specialist. That's when gluten came up in one of the talks with the doctor. I gave it up and BAMMMM, I instantly felt amazing. Lost weight. Looked awesome AND I could have pain free sex!!! Started trying again in March 2017 and fell pregnant in May! I felt great! I felt symptoms! I thought this is it! But, the lines on my hpts began to fade....a day at a time....just like both times before. I went for bloodwork and sure enough, the numbers weren't doubling. I m/c within a few days...I. was. crushed. My marriage was suffering, my hormones were raging, I thought I can't do this anymore. But, we kept pushing. We couldn't give up. I got a new Gyno (LOVE her). She did more testing...everything NORMAL, as usual. So why is this happening???? We started trying again in June, and I got pregnant in July! 7/25/17 to be exact. The exact week we conceived my daughter 3 years ago, my husbands birthday week...haha. I decided NO bloodwork - don't need the stress. I started taking progesterone that my new doc prescribed me - just in case. Here's my info:

Day of Ovulation: strong positive OPK, did the deed!
1 DPO: negative OPK, did the deed anyway!
2: Nothing
3: Left pelvic pain, woke to pee at night (never do that!), so tired, thick white cm
4: Nipples sore
5: Super hungover, felt like barfing, celebrated husband's birthday, had friends over
6: Boobs feel strange today, waves of nausea, husband thinks I'm preggo!
7: Had dream I was pregnant! Had to pee so bad in morning. Headache, cranky, acne
8: Nothing logged
9: Faint BFP on FRER! Sense of smell is crazzzzy. Sharp uterus pains (implantation?), headaches, bloated, acne
10: Clear positive on FRER! Sore throat. Exhausted! Almost cried listening to a song on the radio, and it wasn't even a sad song...
11: Sore throat, sore nipples, cleaned my whole house!
12: BM was very strange, almost, but not really diarrhea (tmi), joint pain (so weird), nausea, EXHAUSTED and asleep by 8pm, again!
13: BFP is getting darker!!! Feeling reassured. Cramps, nausea, SORE nipples. Do. Not. Touch!
14: Took ClearBlue Digital and "pregnant" appeared almost immediately!
15: Darker BFP, nausea, SORE and hard nipples, EXHAUSTED.

Fast forward...I am now 25 DPO and the test line on hpts is now SO, SO, SO dark. I'm scheduled to see my doc on 9/9/17. I'll be past 8 weeks. I'll continue to feel cautiously optimistic about this news until I hear my little baby's heartbeat! I hope my story gives any and all women who have had multiple miscarriages, chemical pregnancies, etc, HOPE to not give up! Never give up! No matter what happens, at least you can say you tried your best. Baby dust to all! xoxo

I thought I was out!!

We tried for 5 months and got our BFP!

I tried to donate my eggs last year but was rejected because of a low AMH. It was .7 and I am 26 years old. With all my research i realized that AMH for young women is not reflective of their ability to get pregnant. However my husband and I decided to start trying at the risk that I wouldn't be able to conceive in the near future.

I got off birth control in March 2017. I started charting and found out I had a short luteal phase with spotting starting around 7-9 days. I thought this would keep me from getting pregnant until I corrected it.

Here are my chart details:

CD13: First sign of fertile cervical mucus, Egg White, Medium
CD14: Egg White CM, Lots, Baby Dance
CD15: Egg White CM, Lots, Baby Dance, Positive OPK
CD16: Watery CM, little, Baby Dance, Positive OPK (OVULATION DAY)

1 DPO: 97.8 Creamy CM, Medium
2 DPO: 97.7 Creamy CM, Little
3 DPO: 98.2 Creamy Yellowish CM (odd for me), Tired
4 DPO: 98 Creamy CM, Medium, Felt a lower pressure in abdomen
5 DPO: 98.3 Creamy CM medium, Twinges in lower abdomen, Vivid dreams, Tired, waking in the night, That day I felt sick like I was run down, fatigue (I wonder if this is when implantation happens because the I read that the body will lower your immune system so that the fertilized egg is not rejected by the body)
6 DPO: 97.8, Creamy Yellow CM again, Slight sore breasts
7 DPO: 98.25 Creamy CM medium, Sore breasts, Lower pressure in Abdomen
8 DPO: 98.29 Tinged Brown CM, little, I thought I was out because this is usually how I start spotting
9 DPO: 98.07 No CM, Twinges in lower abdomen
10 DPO: 97.86 A drop in temp. Thought I was out for sure, I thought I should start spotting any minute, sore breasts, emotional, I had weird pulling sensations, and pinchy ovary feelings like I do during ovulation, I decided to test at 5pm without even a second thought that it would be negative and I could move on from this cycle. I stared in disbelief as a very faint line appeared!! I freaked out and even though I had an elaborate way of telling my husband, the shock sent me straight downstairs showing him that test.
11 DPO: 97.96, Creamy CM Medium, Sore breasts, Ovary Pinch feeling, lower abdomen twinges
12 DPO 98.52, Watery Cm Little, Emotional, Sore breasts, twinges, pulling sensation
13 DPO: 98.52, Watery little, Spazzy muscles in Stomach
14 DPO: 98.21 , no CM, Twinges, lower pressure, test line much darker!

Well there you have it! I am now 24 DPO and my one big symptom i can't ignore are the daily cramps from every part of my stomach and abdomen, all over the place! I guess the little bean is making room. :)

Things that I did to improve our chances:
Had bone broth daily, took fermented cod liver oil, took whole food based prenatal, Took vitex, Husband took fertileaid, I ate grass fed meats and butter almost daily, fresh eggs daily, found a way to get liver in my diet, ate leafy green veggies, drank lots of water for CM, incorporated fermented foods and beverages into my diet, rubbed magnesium oil on nightly, stayed away from sugar!

BFP with unexpected symptoms

Another BFP story from an older mom with TTC/loss/rainbow baby experience…

I have a short LP (10-12 days), so by the time it makes sense to POAS, I already get my period or indications of it. And this cycle was the same. Here are my symptoms by dpo:

1-7 dpo: nothing in particular
7-8 dpo: stabbing pain in breasts (typical AF symptom for me)
9 dpo: I went and bought a big box of sweets for hubby and me. I was emotional and irritable. (Both, also AF symptoms for me).
10 dpo: My BBT fell, close to, but not below coverline. I also had a lower backache and felt moody/irritable. (All AF symptoms).

I felt like testing late in the evening (10dpo), just to be sure. I fully expected AF to come soon, but I guess I didn’t want it to. I used a Wondfo dip strip. It says you should read it after 5 minutes (no upper limit given). I forgot and looked after 10 minutes. There was a faint but visible second line. Even hubby, who doesn’t know anything about POAS or faint lines) could see it. I thought it must be an evaporation line.

I went and took care of some business. Two hours later, I wanted to test again, because I felt some slight soreness on my breasts and irritated/sensitive nipples (not AF symptoms). I used a SurePredict and a Wondfo. Read both at 5 minutes, but both were negative. After another 5 minutes or so, I looked with a flashlight and both had a second line. I couldn’t leave this hanging in the air. So, I went ahead and used a FRER and got a clear positive at midnight!

I already got confirmed with a blood test and put on progesterone. Now in the waiting game and hoping and praying that it sticks!

BFP post-Mirena and using progesterone cream

It's so hard for me to believe that this is actually happening...

I'm 28 years old and my husband is 34. Neither of us have ever conceived. We've been ttc for 4 months, and this is our 6th cycle. Obviously I have very short cycles; they average from 23-24 days. My last cycle was only 21 days, though. I was also experiencing mid-cycle brown spotting on the regular. I started to think that I had a progesterone problem, especially since I was on Mirena for about 4 years. I had Mirena removed a year ago, but I heard that some women continue to experience problems maintaining an adequate level of progesterone far after Mirena is removed. After my husband and I had tried for 5 cycles and timed everything correctly, including BD'ing 4 times during each fertile window, I decided to invest in some Emerita Pro-Gest progesterone cream. I used this the day after ovulation (I probably ovulated on CD 11 but unconfirmed) and continued to apply it twice a day every day.

Here are my symptoms/activities by CD/DPO (didn't keep track of some of my earlier CDs):

cd 5 / -6 dpo: BD. Laid down for 20-30 minutes after.
cd 6 / -5 dpo: BD. Laid down for 20-30 minutes after.
cd 7 / -4 dpo: Nothing.
cd 8 / -3 dpo: BD. Laid down for 20-30 minutes after.
cd 9 / -2 dpo: BD. Laid down for 20-30 minutes after.
cd 10 / -1 dpo: Positive OPK in the morning. BD. Laid down for 20-30 minutes after.
cd 11 / 0 dpo: Probably ovulated. Did not BD.
cd 12 / 1 dpo: Husband left for job out of state. I started applying progesterone cream twice a day, every day on and after this day. started eating a VEGAN diet (cut out all dairy, eggs, and meat), not because of ttc but as a personal experiment/for my own health. Tracked my nutrition to ensure I was getting enough protein. 1 hour of spinning on the bike.
cd 13 / 2 dpo: Creamy cm; blamed it on the progesterone cream. Still eating vegan diet. 1 hour of spinning on the bike.
cd 14 / 3 dpo: Creamy cm. Still eating vegan diet.
cd 15 / 4 dpo: Creamy cm. Still eating vegan diet.
cd 16 / 5 dpo: Took a plane to out of state to meet my husband in the state that we will be moving to at the end of August. Started shopping for a house on this day. Ate vegan in the morning and then officially stopped the vegan "experiment" once my plane landed in the afternoon (planned). Felt great. Good energy. Hung out with friends. BD. Creamy cm; my husband noticed it was "wet."
cd 17 / 6 dpo: Creamy cm. Enjoying lots of great food and hanging out with friends. Shopping for houses. Good energy.
cd 18 / 7 dpo: Creamy cm. Still enjoying lots of great food and hanging out with friends. Shopping for houses. Good energy.
cd 19 / 8 dpo: Creamy cm. Bloated; blamed it on the food I was eating. Boobs and back hurt; blamed it on PMS. Flew back to state we are currently living in. Made an offer on a house and it was accepted by the sellers (!!!)
cd 20 / 9 dpo: Cm starting to dry up. Very bloated. Start to feel like AF is on her way. Disappointed but excited about the house.
cd 21 / 10 dpo: Dry cm. Very, very light brown, watery stuff only when I wipe. Sporadic and not enough for a liner. Start to definitely think AF is on her way. Very bloated and back and boobs hurt.
cd 22 / 11 dpo: Dry cm. Woke up with increased sex drive. Still having light brown stuff come out but it's not increasing. No cramps. Saw one DROP of brown blood on the toilet paper. Very bloated and back and boobs hurt. Cravings for chocolate and other junk food.
cd 23 / 12 dpo: Dry cm. Out of breath going up the stairs. Blame it on not being acclimated to the high altitude again yet (I live at high altitude and we had been visiting a place at sea level). Cravings for chocolate and junk food. Tender breasts and back pain. VERY bad gas. Bloating. Breaking out on face and butt. No desire to exercise.
cd 24 / 13 dpo: Supposed to start my period on this day. Wake up and don't have any cramps. Run to take a test as soon as I have to pee. It was one of those Amazon cheapies and I got a very faint positive but definitely saw it. Blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't imaging it or seeing an indent line. Waited a couple more minutes, looked away and back at it several times. Always saw a line. Ran to tell my husband. He was still sleeping (it was 6 AM) but he woke up IMMEDIATELY. Sent a picture to my best friend and she said she didn't see a line, but she "believed me." Husband drove me to take another test and I got a positive on a FRER (see pic)!!!!! Sent another picture to my friend and she finally agreed :-) Got a bit nauseous in the car ride to the store to get the test, but that's it. Random boob pain, and some twinges and pulling in my uterus. Still very bloated. All my pants feel too tight.

Bfp at 9dpo after 2 mths trying

So excited to finally get to do my own story!
Me - 31 yrs old. Hubby - 34 yrs old
Came off the pill in January 2017. We wanted to have a baby in 2018 so the first 3 months were getting thinhs normal. The first cycle was 32 days, then the next cycle was 28 days. That's where it then went haywire. Third was 37 days. This was stem i decided to start temping. The 4th cycle was 38 days. This was our first month of actively trying. After temping it turns out i only have a 10 day luteal phase so had i not been temping i would have been trying at the wrong time. This brings me to our succesful cycle.

My ovulation was delayed a couple of days i think due to a little cold i had. This resulted in a longer cycle of what would have been 41 days. This meant we DTD fpr 7 days straight just waiting for that temp to go up! I tried OPKs but never got a positive. Only a faint line. So i didnt find them useful.

-6 to 0 - DTD. Only difference this cycle i put a pillow under my butt for 30 mins in the last 3 days. I also didn't go to the loo or stand up til the morning. Difference this cycle i also had tender breasts 4 days before O which was not normal. Also had EWCM 4 days before O. Temp -1DPO 36.3

0 - EWCM. DTD. Sick with a cold/mild flu from -1DPO to 4DPO. I thunk this may have helped. Apparently your immune system is lowered and less likely to attack his swimmers. Temp 36.4

1DPO - EWCM. Sick with cold. Temp 36.8.

2DPO - creamy cm. Pimple break out. Still have cold. Temp 36.8. Also my 31st birthday!!!

3DPO - creamy cm. Gassy. Cramps. Still have cold. Temp 36.8

4DPO - creamy cm. Still have cold. Temp 36.7

5DPO - creamy cm. Cold finally over. Temp 36.9. Sore boobs start (and have still not let up now at 11DPO)

6DPO - sore boobs. More pimples which is definitely not liked me. Starting to get suss. Temp 36.8

7DPO - sore boobs. Gassy. And this is when i got super sick. Diarrhoea that got me by surprise i didnt make it to the toilet (sorry TMI). Temp still 36.8. Had the worst sleep. Body aches started, like the flu. One more diarrhoea episode that night.

8DPO - sore boobs. No appetite whatsoever. No appetite means no food which means no diarrhoea at least. Terribly body aches. Slept all day. Temp 38 degrees...fever! Temp discarded. Boobs normally stop hurting at 8 DPO if AF coming.

9DPO - more pimples. What's going on! Temp back to 36.8. Body aches gone but still fatigued. Appetite slightly back. Headache. First very faint BFP on internet cheapie in AM. Little sussed. Did another internet cheapie at PM and slightly more darker. Horrible sleep. Maybe cos my brain was racing and my boobs were killing.

10DPO - sore boobs. Gassy. Slight cramps. More pimples OMG. Dizzy. Very fatigued. Got home from work and decided to bring out the big guns - FRER. Very clear dark BFP and a YES on the digital!!!!!! Wooooooo!!!!!

Now on 11DPO. Blood test tomoro. Much darker BFP on internet cheapie after work today. So tired by the arvo. And hungry! Boobs still hurting :(

We did not expect this to hapoen so quick. I had PCOS as a teen as into my early 20s. My long cycles were also freaking me out. I definitely swear by temping! Can't wait to meet our healthy little bub! Bub also looks to be due on our 3rd wedding anniversary :)

Natural BFP at 43

I was lurking and promising myself like others that if successful I would share what I did to get here.

I conceived my DS at 39 with no issue and was 40 when he was born. I knew though that trying for a second would be a very uncertain road at my age. Looking back we were really lucky to conceive after only about 16 months of concerted effort. During that time I had two failed IVF cycles and travelled long haul for work away from my husband for seven 3 week trips and missed quite a few opportunities making the outcome even luckier, statistically speaking.

I also trawled the internet, consulted a snake oil naturopath, charted, and took a buttload of supplements to help regulate my cycle. These included vitamins B (group) C, D, E (tocotrienols as well as tocopherols), magnesium myo-inositol, alpha lipoic acid, vitex, ubiquinol and red maca. I also ate two eggs for breakfast every day (gross!). I also cut out all alcohol and caffeine and soy and cold drinks and gee life was dull. As I added more and more to the daily mix it was interesting to see the effects. My BBT became much more stable and predictable and easier to map to my ovulation symptoms. My luteal phase lengthened slightly from 7or 8 days to 9 or 10. The follicular phase actually lengthened, annoyingly. The long weeks of jet lag from the 10 hour time differences made it harder too but I doubt they had much impact in the end. In the end I would put my money on the ubiquinol (500mg daily before tapering down to 200mg per day) and the red maca. Gross but I think that's what did it. A small disclaimer that I had a high AMH and low FSH at 42, and am in good physical shape.

BFP Symptoms were same as all the BFN cycles (headaches, cramps, bloating) except for tender nipples from 6DPO, same as other pregnancy. Squinter BFP on IC at 11DPO when temps stayed up. Lines gradually got stronger then two strong lines 13DPO on FRER.

Am now at 35 weeks and 4 days after a complication-free pregnancy. Tired and looking forward to welcoming LO to the outside not long before I turn 44.

Wishing all of you the best of luck.

2 months TTC

Hello Ladies!
I am so blessed to report that after only two months of TTC, I got my BFP on 9DPO (faint positives starting 7DPO)!

Here is my background information- 28 years old, no family history of infertility but my mom did miscarry at 12 weeks between her 2 successful pregnancies.

I used period tracker app for 2 years before trying so I knew my cycle length (25 days). I used the OVIA app while TTC. It incorrectly predicted my fertile window, so it's a good thing I was using OPK's! I ovulate late around CD 14-15 and have a short luteal phase (10-11 days MAX)

Fertile window for me was CD 10-15, We BD on CD 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16. I'm pretty sure I O'd on CD 15.

Now on to the good stuff:

1DPO- EWCM *BD today

2DPO- Gas in the evening

3DPO- Slept 9 hours the night before, fatigue, Vivid dream, thick yellow CM, runny nose

4DPO- Vivid dreams (Very emotional dreams, which is something I've never experience before), Mild teeth sensitivity, yellow CM, increased appetite, Sore nipples (This is a symptom that made me really hopeful, as my nipples are never sore during PMS)

5DPO- Yellow CM, Minor cramps, Sore Nipples, Pimples on chest and back appeared, Bloating

6DPO- Yellow CM, Minor cramps, Sore Nipples, Heavy/tender breasts, Emotional

7DPO- Slept 9 hours night before, Vivid dream (Again, involving high emotions), 3 BM's before 2pm, Sore nipples, yellow cm.

I took my first HPT with FMU on 7DPO (4 days before AF) I was in a rush and didn't examine the results fully. It wasn't until my lunch break that I took a look and saw a very very faint positive! I know the test dye could have bled, so I took another HPT in the evening and sure enough, very faint positive.

8DPO- This is the morning I knew I was pregnant for sure. I went to bed the night before around 1am and woke up at 7am with TONS of energy. Felt like I could run a marathon. I should mention this was a Saturday, a day that I usually relax in bed until 10am. HPT with FMU and a faint positive (stronger line than the night before). Around 5pm I started having weird cramps...Not anything like PMS cramps. Almost like what I would imagine a small contraction would feel like. It felt like my uterus was expanding from all sides. It lasted for about 45 seconds. Little cramps followed, but nothing with that kind of distinct feeling. Light brown CM.

9DPO- HPT with FMU. Even stronger line than day before. Still not getting a BFP. I went and purchased clear blue digital (To get my "PREGNANT" result clear as day). I couldn't wait for the next morning, so I took my test around 7pm. It took 3 minutes to appear, but I got my BFP. For some reason it wasn't real to me and my husband until then!

Baby dust to all of you ladies out there!

42 and after 5 years a BFP with several faint positive

I swear the first five days those positives kept jumping at me I would insist on tweaking, messing with lighting. Surely it's an evaporation line.
Amazingly every single dollar store test would turn positive after the 10 mark time and I discounted that until I read a few posts about how many women got pregnant and same scenerio. Thought the test was negative, threw it out, dug it out and a positive.
But I still didn't believe it. It's been 5 years of this TWW stuff I'm in pregnancy denial maybe?
Well tonight I said enough with these dollar tests and spent 16.99 on a two pack of FRER'S. Didn't need more than four seconds for that second line and then I went total mental usual suspects mode analyzing every damn test I'd been staring at on my phone and put it together like a puzzle. YOU ARE PREGNANT WOMAN!! STOP PEEING ON THINGS.
So here I sit. With the following obvious signs I had for a week that I've blown off
6dpo sharp dip in my BBT chart. This was my very first month temping and using preseed and softcup.
Also my second month on vitex.
7dpo headache. Way sore girls. They did not want to be caged, free the boobies! Such a sharp pain I went down to the floor and had to take something. Felt like my uterus was falling out. So much pressure
8 dpo first positive (I convinced myself was negative because you know....the time frame thing
9dpo fell asleep at 3 pm woke at 6 went back to sleep at 8 and didn't get up until 5 am the next morning
10 dpo. What is this crap??? Why does my coffee taste like butter? Searched the fridge to find the smell that I kept getting a whiff of at every pass to the bathroom. Found it! Open bag of broccoli in the vegetable bin. How the heck did I not know this was a huge sign?
Skipped testing this day and tweaked old tests I have officially peed on all the things !!

11dpo damn you dollar tree, I'm on my way. Af cramps. Maybe I'm wasting my time. Bope, I'm going. 10 in hand. Lady at the counter started to make a joke and I looked at her with the stare of pure evil so she knew not to go there. I have been holding my wee for 1 hour lady this is not ok.
Hmmmm a bit snappy today. The perfume from the lady behind the counter at dunkin donuts attached itself to my cup and I had to throw it out because I couod smell that perfume everywhere.
Pink line after 30 minutes and dollar tree test dried ON 3 tests!. Must be me being hopeful.
12 dpo AF cramps for about an hour again. Left side. Dull headache and falling asleep on the phone.
Scratch cottage cheese and tomatoes off my grocery list. All I want is cereal.
Another line same time frame and density as the previous 4 days. Never ever seen color on an evap line and trust me I've peed on A LOT of things in these 5 years. I've even Googled sugar tests, all the DIY tests that BTW do not work.
These evaps must be a bad batch.
13 dpo. Today. Stitch feelings are precisely the perfect term for what I'm feeling on the left lower pelvic area. Almost in the hip.
Definitely a pink line after staring at a test for two hours on my phone. I'm convinced. Completely talked to myself driving to the store to get a frer and thought nothing of it until I got out of my jeep.
It seriously was like the end of the usual suspects. All the lines. The pink evaps. The tests. The dollar store trips. The hold. Oh I hate the hold. Is this for real?
I had already went to the restroom before I went to the store so that was less than 20 min. Who cares!!! I've got two and I need to pee on something and analyze the heck out of it.
And there it was. My Beautiful moment. Clear as day.
Omgosh I haven't had a baby in 19 years!!!! If I can't pee on things I must start planning.
I put a collection together for you all to see all the tests that were indeed positive
Still having the stich feeling. It's very obvious
Sore girls but not too bad.
Headaches and no pimples were a huge sign for me as well.
Wishing everyone loads of baby dust. It will happen. I have a 26 -28 day cycle 2 grown boys one with severe disability and all I can do is smile.

Bfp with Short Cycle, preseed, and very few symptoms.

I can't believe I'm writing this. I'm in denial, if I can be honest. I've taken multiple cheapie tests, one digital and a clearblue.
I've spent some time on this site, scouring and finding hope. My journey started many years ago, in my early 20s. And in spite of years of trying, I was a firm believer that it would happen when it was supposed to. I considered more invasive fertility treatments, but let's get real - Those options can get expensive, and I (like most of us) don't make a lot of money. Even with damn good insurance, it just wasn't feasible. I envy anyone who is in a position to explore those options. But, back to my BFP.

LMP March 27, 2017. I have a 24 day cycle.

CD 1-5 AF
CD 6 BD with PreSeed
CD 7 & 8 nothing exciting
CD 9 BD with PreSeed
CD 10 BD with PreSeed
CD 11 nothing
CD 12 BD 2x (what can I say, we were feeling frisky!)
CD 13 BD with PreSeed
CD 14 Nothing special. I believe I have ovulated at this point.
CD 15 - 1dpo (?) Instant hemorrhoids. Made my partner run to drug store for Prep H.
2dpo - 5dpo Constipated, hemorrhoids (not uncommon for me, but I took note of them)
5dpo - BD, no PreSeed. Just frisky.
6dpo. Very thirsty. Skin on lower stomach seems softer??
7dpo - 9 dpo. Still very thirsty. None of my usual af symptoms. Just a different sensation in my lower region. Like, I'm more aware of my babymaker, if that makes sense.

9dpo/cd23 Faint positives on dollar general tests, not fmu.
10dpo/cd24 More faint positives on cheapie tests, DG/dollar tree. Negative Target digital.
11dpo/Cd25 (Today) 2 more Positives on cheapies, Positive on ClearBlue easy.
I'm waiting another day or two to take the other digital. I've read that they aren't as sensitive, somehow. None of my +s have been with fmu.

What we did different?
PreSeed - I believe, 99%, that this was the deciding factor this time around. Let me explain- I like lube. I've used another brand for many years, always suspecting that it was hindering my chances. The PreSeed was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it.

Baby Danced twice in one day! - We had fun with it, went to bed happy. We did this 24-36 hours before I expected my ovulation. I imagine I may get some backlash about this, as many of you suggest to wait a day in between bd, as to get higher quality & quantity swimmers. But we had a blast, and perhaps it helped? :)

Layed on my stomach post-BD. - I don't know lol. Maybe this helped.

Prenatals daily, drank a lot of Powerade (B vitamins)

I haven't temped in years, and my last run with opk's was January. In other words, I cannot say with certainty when I O'd. Past experience suggests that I ovulate between CD12 and CD13, giving me an 11 day LP. I did not experience any kind of implantation bleeding.

I'm writing this to give you ladies some hope, the way previous BFP stories did for me. I have a short cycle, short luteal. I'm in my 30s. This is my first pregnancy. It is possible. Much love, Baby Dust, Good vibes, prayers to all.
Have a beautiful Thursday!
