Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP with No Symptoms

I prayed for this bean to stay stuck...

So my husband 36 and myself 33 have been ttc since we were married in 2011 almost five years! We had one pregnancy that lasted for 11 weeks and three chemical pregnancies. Well here is how I received my BFP this time :)

I was on 50mg of clomid the two cycles previously but ran out of prescription.
I usually take .125mcg of synthroid and 7.5mg two times daily of Sustained release T3 for my Hypothyroidism, however I upped my T3 to 15mg twice a day to see if it made me more energetic as I kept forgetting my mid day dose and had tons of extras.

I was on quite a sushi kick for the TWW, however before we all panic it was cooked sushi!
Started going to a chiropractor as I had hip/back issues and had one massage too.
Didn't do ovulation testing due to it being a break cycle and no fertility meds, however we maintained our schedule with pre-seed and softcup combo CD 8 - CD 12. Didn't really track nothing this month as I just feel like a failure after years and years!

We did the deed on CD 5, CD 8, CD 10, CD 12, CD 18. My cycles are max 23 days, usually 21 so we were on a family trip and came back on CD 24 and tested mid afternoon and it came up positive. I just thought I was late from the clomid in my system from previous two months?! Totally shocked as I haven't had any symptoms that I can recall, maybe a bit tender breasts and frequent peeing, little diarrhea on CD 17 now I am a bit dizzy CD 25? Which all before have happened with no BFP.

I hope this is the one that sticks for us, I would be more than blessed and would thank the heavens above!!!

Wishing you all the luck on your ttc :)

First ever BFP 11dpo!!! Here's my symptoms

This is our 4th month TTC and the first month we used preseed. My symptoms this month that made me suspect pregnancy was that I actually felt fine. Normally a few days before aunt flow I get cramps and mood swings. The only thing I found odd was that all through the TWW I found myself getting a bit carsick when I was behind the wheel. I also got a heat rash between my BB's 2 days before a positive pregnancy test after going for a 2 mile walk. I have never had a heat rash before so that made me a bit suspicious. Today was my first BFP so i took 3 tests and all had clear positives. Period isn't late until Wednesday, so I am going to test each morning to make sure the line still shows up.

BFP very minimal symptoms

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my story with all of you mama's-to-be out there. First of all I'm going to be 32, husband 36, both healthy have one 16 month old DD. Have been experiencing irregular cycles since 10 months post partum, anywhere from 47 to 33 days ( though they've been getting more regular with each passing cycle). We've been trying for 6 months and using preseed and Opk's. This month was actually the first month I didn't use OPK's or preseed. Because my periods have been so irregular I had no idea when I was ovulating and for some reason my post partum body was not producing ewcm like it used to, so I used an app to target my fertile window. (The app was actually a bit off in its calculation according to when I got my first bfp, so I think it's really important to listen to your body and BD when youre feeling randy). We tried to BD every other night starting a week after my period ended, but we Def missed a few nights.
Unfortunately I can't list symptoms ( or lack of) according to DPO, since I can't be certain of when I ovulated. Please note that hese symptoms are things that I discovered in hindsight.

Feeling short of breath taking stairs at work (just thought I needed to lose 5lbs)
Got a head cold with persistent runny nose (I have a toddler 'nuff said)
Very transient breast pain (just thought period was coming)
Felt a bit nauseous one evening (just assumed it was from the 3 cocktails I had earlier that day- obviously I'm a believer in the drink till it's pink addage)
Slept like a log one night and woke up with a very stiff neck
Those were my only symptoms during my tww. I had no noticeable cm changes, dreams, mood changes, bloating, breast growth (sad i know) or bowel issues.

That has been my experience this time around and I don't think I had any tww symptoms the first time around either. Hope this helps some of the future moms out there. Good luck and baby dust to you all!

A little late but wanted to show my support

Hi ladies,

I remember coming to this website every day of the month for at least a year. Now, I am 35 weeks pregnant. But I remembered how supportive it was to me to read about the BFP stories and what I could look for and any advice provided.

I was TTC for 2 years with my husband - I used ovulation calculators and checked my CM every day for the perfect EWCM but to no avail. The last time I had gotten pregnant, it was a surprise so I had no idea how stressful trying to become pregnant could be.

At last, despite my husband saying it took the romance out of it, I invested in ovulation sticks. I was convinced we were just missing the window and that by using them it would help. And boy did it ever. I got pregnant with 2 months of using the sticks and the best part is you get a ton in a package so you can test multiple times a day if you are obsessed like I was.

Day 1-7: Nothing, no symptoms
Day 8: Tired, mild nausea.
Day 9: Same
Day 10: Same
Day 11: Back ache, tired
Day 12-14: Feeling tired and not hungry at all.
Day 15: Light BFP
Day 16: Dark BFP
Day 18: Confirmed at doctor's office with blood test.

So here is my advice:
Get the ovulation sticks -they really do help take the guesswork out of when you are ovulating.
Do not stress if your symptoms are not overly obvious - I got my positive blood test and still didn't really feel pregnant until about 12 weeks along.
Don't rely on counting the days of your cycle - mine were regular but I still missed the mark for over a year on when I usually ovulate.

Sending happy thoughts your way! Thank you to this community for keeping me hopeful during those late nights on the computer wondering why it wasn't happening.

BFP with very few symptoms

Hi!

If you're anything like me, you've just spent the last week stalking Google and YouTube which led you to here looking for even more tww symptoms or BFP success stories.

If so I hope this post can help if you're in your tww.

I just confirmed that I am two weeks pregnant! DH and I are elated, but a bit shocked since I had very few symptoms during the tww.

Here are my list of symptoms:
1-16 Dpo: Cramps, bloating, and gas (especially early in the morning)
8 dpo: 1 vivid dream

Yup that's it.

After reading through so many posts here I realized that there are other women out there with minimal tww symptoms as well. I thought maybe couldn't be pregnant because I didn't have nausea, sore boobs, fatigue, increased appetite, mood swings, etc. Just hoping to reassure someone out there that if you think you're pregnant, don't test too early, but don't be discouraged if you don't have a long list of symptoms.

Thank you to all the women who have posted. I was truly blessed to have read each and every one of your personal journeys.

Blessings and Baby Dust!

Miracle BFP

I am so excited to be submitting my BFP story. My hope is that it will encourage someone else that may be going through what I and my DH have gone through. I am 35 and DH is 42. We have been trying to concieve for years with no success. This year, we decided to see a new RE and start over, since our past attempts did not work. I have PCOS, and do not ovulate without assistance, and DH has no issues. After having my cycles regulated by Meformin, I was able to move forward with Letrozole on days 3-7. Clomid did not work for me in the past, so my new dct prescribed Letrozole.
For months we tried TI, but decided after the last BFN cycle we would move on to the IUI. I am so thrilled to report that after only 1 IUI, we recieved our BFP today!!
Before testing, I had no sypmtoms. In fact, I had already began planning for IUI #2. I decided to POAS on a whim, because I wanted to see if the trigger was out of my system. Because I was soooo shocked about the + test, I went to the RE also for a BETA test today. The blood test confirmed that I am indeed pregnant! I am so excited and grateful that our dream is a reality. It truly is a miracle. It has been very challenging going through fertility treatments, but very well worth it. I want to encourage other women faced with PCOS or any other concerns to stay positive and know that IT CAN HAPPEN! Trust, believe, and keep the faith. Trust that your prayers will be answered. Its still early for me, and I'm still praying, but to know that after 4 years of BFN to get a BFP is a victory! Baby Dust to all of you and GL :-)!

BFP AT 21 DPO : 8 DAYS AFTER EXPECTED MENSTRUAL

PRETTY LONG BUT I WANTED TO GIVE YOU LADIES ALL THE DETAIL (:

Hey ladies, I just got my bfp after two months of trying. Last month we missed ovulation by two days :( last month I swore I was pregnant had all the signs :
- bloating
- what I thought was implantation cramping at 7 dpo
- nausea
- and really sore nipples *sorry tmi *
When AF showed I was extremely devastades because I honestly thought that I was pregnant

This month the only thing different was that I used an app called "ovia" it definetly helps with showing you your fertile days in a graph type of form.

My symptoms during the tww:

- really bad backache starting since 5 dpo , felt more like a really uncomfortable dull ache
-EXTREMELY GASSY
- ACNE OMG I BROKE OUT SOOOO BAD that's sort of gave me a clue something was going on
-I HAD NO CRAMPS ! I usually cramp up starting from 7 dpo and this month nothing
-FATIGUEEEEEEEEEE : the fatigue I was getting was so horrible , I could sleep 10 hours , wake up , find something to do and in less than 2 hours I was ready to go to sleep again .

My period was due may 13th, 2016 the day my period was due I had some brown tinged cm that was really thick and some light cramping , I put on a pad thinking that I was about to start and NOTHING. I spotted again two days after on may 15th so I assumed AF was coming and nothing . I tested since 9 dpo and was pretty much getting nothing but BFN'S so I had pretty much given up hope . 7 days had passed and My period still wasn't here, I checked my cervix and had ewcm mixed with creamy cm and my cervix was pretty high , that seemed weird to me. Took a pregnancy test BFN , I had given up hope and honestly just wanted AF to start so that I could buy pressed and soft cups for next month since that was what dh and I were going to try.

8 days late and suddenly I just got the weird urge to buy a pregnancy test , I hadn't tested all day , I tested at 2 a.m. without first morning urine and got a BFP (: still faint but you can definitely see it without fainting (:

I wrote this post to help you ladies during the tww hope you all get your bfp's and just keep hope alive things always happen when you least expect it I had seen a lot of post that were saying that a bfp after 19 dpo was nearly impossible but I'm here to let you ladies know that ITS POSSIBLE ! just because you're getting bfn's doesn't mean that you're not pregnant it could just be that your hormones aren't high enough to be detected (: hope you ladies have a good day .

*I'll be checking up on this post just in case your ladies have any questions*

BFP

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share my BFP story in hopes of giving someone hope abd motivation like this website has given me.

I had an MC at 15 weeks in march, my DH and I were heartbroken but wanted to keep working on our now rainbow baby! First cycle didn't happen for us so I got some OPKs downloaded an app and was determined to succeed. And today my BFP!!

So here's how my cycle went:

Cd1-cd6 period (I usually have heavy ones this ond was no exception)
CD 8 : positive opk, BD
CD 9- CD 12: negative opk, BD just in case
CD13- CD 20: BD every other day just for fun
CD 21: positive opk ( what the what?!!) No BD didn't have the opportunity.
CD 22- CD 23: positive opk again!!! BD on CD 23
CD 24- 30: negative opk, felt like we missed out since we only had the chance to get at it once sp bd every other day without giving it a lot of thought.
CD 31-cd 34: HPT negative BD again for a good measure.
CD 35 or more like cd 1 since af arrived.

BUT wait, there's more...

CD 1- CD 6: period completely normal for me heavy period nothing out of the ordinary.

CD8: decided to take opk since last month waa so strange and guess what: blazing positive so, BD again and throughout until CD 11

Now comes the fun part

I found it strange that I kept getting blazing positives non stop and I've read a lot about the fact that if opk stays posituve for longer it could indicate pregnancy so decided to take HPT without any hopes and guess what faint positive, not a squinter.

Next day (today) took more hpt's including the digital all show BFP and significantly stronger then yesterday! How could this be? I mean I've as well have been having spotting since cd 9. Tomorrow going to doc to confirm but this is the strangest thing ever. Means I had implantation a day or so after my period which is practically impossible. But I am optimistic since lines have gotten a lot stronger, hoping for a sticky bean!

Don't lose hope ladies, baby dust to u all!!!

BFP 15dpiui (first time) and i have PCOS

Just got confirmation from my dr now that my beta count is 103.

I have had little to no symptoms.

I'm not super religious but i did have everyone pray for us this time and kept telling myself i WAS pregnant.

Below is the story i posted a few days ago...

Hi ladies, I'm driving myself insane reading on the net and not finding what I'm looking for, perhaps someone here might be able to advise me...

I have PCOS but everything on my fiancés side is fine.
We recently moved and have been so busy unpacking boxes that we haven't really had time or energy for any intimacy (bad i know but it's the last thing on your mind when you get to bed at midnight and have to be up 5 hours later)

We have been ttc for over 2 years (long story - changed specialists as a result). Our new specialist said we need to try iui and possibly ivf at a later stage if no luck with iui. We went for our first iui treatment recently, on d3 - d7 of cycle i started laradex for 5 days, when i collected my script the receptionist told me i must come in for a scan on friday 6May, on Sunday 1May i lay awake in bed wondering what scan it was, in the past i was used to a 12d scan but perhaps the new specialist did things differently. Monday 2 May was a public holiday here in SA so first thing Tue morning i called the specialists offices to enquire about the scan, it turns out the receptionist had miscalculated and i was meant to go in the previous Friday, they quickly squeezed me in on Tue for a scan.

I had one follicle on each ovary measuring 23mm, he booked me in immediately for our iui.
My fiancé went and made his deposit and i waited while they washed it.
My concern is this:
1) we didn't do any trigger shots and
2)it had been approximately 2 weeks since we were last intimate (i know ideally it should be 2 - 3 days prior to iui so we were planning it on the day of the scan which is generally 2 - 3 days prior to the actual iui)
We didn't get told the stats of his swimmers either before the procedure.

They had a problem getting the catheter in and had to use a tenaculum (i bled for 2 days after). it is now 6dpuiu and i have had a uncomfortable feeling like AF is on her way since the procedure, besides that nothing except for a nose bleed this morning (i never get them)

I'm not expecting this to be a successful iui, what do you ladies think?

7DPO BFP

Hi All!
So during my 2WW, I have been reading all of these great stories about BFP! I never ever thought i would be one of them.
A little background about me. I'm 33 and never had kids before. Having kids is very important to me because I am adopted and never had/knew any of my blood relatives.
I was so shocked to see a BFP at 7DPO. I thought it was wrong so I literally took 5 more. (This wasn't even morning urine.) The only reason why I took the test was because I was bored and i had so many Wondfo pregnancy test strips so I said, what the hell. Obviously wondfo tests are very sensitive!
There was no reason to take the tests because I had no symptoms and it was over a week until my period.
So the next morning, I took 2 more pregnancy tests. Both were a faint positive. I went to work and bought 2 more from the drug store. A more legit source than an internet cheapie. Positives!
That day I got in to see my doctor and she confirmed with another urine test and a blood test!
It is still very early (only 4 weeks, 13DPO, CD29) so I am not getting my hopes up just yet but the symptoms are slowly showing up. Tender Breasts, bloated, gassy and I feel a little more tired throughout the day. That is pretty much it!
Now that I think of it, on 4,5, and 6DPO, I was so incredibly emotional that I would cry... That is not like me what so ever. I would cry just thinking about random, stupid things, or cry because i heard a song or watch a show! Also, i noticed that I had more headaches than usual. Those were the only 2 things that were a bit strange but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Anyways, that is my story.
Good luck to all you! It will happen!
