BFP with spotting
BFP with few symptoms and spotting 14 dpo I'm 34 and DH is 33. We've been trying naturally for about 6-7 months. I used an OPK this month so I was pretty sure we timed things right. I had relatively few symptoms overall. Except for the very dull ache on 8-9 dpo and spotting 14 dpo, I didn't feel anything out of the norm. This site has been great to let me secretly obsess during those looong two week waits!
1-2 dpo - sore nipples (normal for me right after ovulation) 3-7 dpo - nothing 8-9 dpo - i felt a slight dull ache around my right ovary a few times. it was so slight i thought i was just imagining things 10-12 dpo - nothing 13 dpo - i started feeling really tired (this always happens to me the day before my period) and my bbs started getting sore, both symptoms are classic pms symptoms for me. i was sure this month was not going to happen. 14 dpo - bbs sore, and started feeling slightly crampy, like i was going to start my period. This was somewhat unusual since i normally don't feel anything until it actually starts. At lunch, i noticed pink blood on the toilet paper after wiping, assumed this was my period... but to my surprise no blood came after that, or by the next morning. suspected something was up, since this never happens to me. I was also feeling more crampy/uncomfortable than is normal for me. 15 dpo - tested in the morning. BFP!! still felt a little crampy that day but no spotting. bbs still sore 16 dpo - crampy feeling is gone. bbs still sore. was so tired that day - fell asleep at 8:30pm. 17 dpo - feeling completely normal except for sore bbs and a couple mild twinges near right ovary throughout the day. Oh, and CM has been pretty scant the past 17 days.
BFP on 9 DPO & BFP on 10 DPO first month TTC-- 2nd full cycle off Birth Control
Here is a rundown of what I did this month:
Prayed (actually I started praying for a baby months before TTC) Drank green tea every day Eliminated caffeine from my diet approx. 2 months before TTC Drank plenty of water ever day Kept a healthy & well balanced diet (lots of fruits & veggies & soy protien) Started taking prenatle vitamin 1 month before TTC (was taking a regular womens multi vitamin before then)
Here is a rundown of my symtoms:
O on cd 20 BD on cd 12, cd 14, cd 19, cd 20
1 DPO- The usual tiny bit of creamy CM 2 DPO- Tiny bit creamy CM 3 DPO- Tiny bit of creamy CM. I also started noticing what felt like little tiny zaps in my lower stomach area (never felt this before). I also had a dream that I POAS and I had got a faint positive. 4 DPO- Tiny bit of Creamy CM. Also still having that zappy feeling in my lower stomach and pelvic area. Headache. 5 DPO- Same amount of Creamy CM. Headache, and a little bit of dizzinesss. Had another dream about a BFP. 6 DPO- Creamy CM, Headache, Dizzy on and off throughout the day. VERY IRRITABLE 7 DPO- Creamy CM, Headache, having a few sharp pains on my right side, and a wired feeling under my belly button, small amount of mild dull cramps in my lower pelvic area. Dull low back pain. Have a few small Zits on my face. STILL IRRIATIBLE 8 DPO- Creamy CM, Cramps in my lower pelvic area, cramps in my legs all the way down to my calfs. Felt like AF was coming, but she was not due for about another week. Low back pain got a little worse. Still having that on and off dizzy feeling. 9 DPO- Woke up with the same dull cramps from my lower pelvic are down to my calfs. I knew something was up- so I POAS first thing in the morning with a FRER. I got a BFP!! It was light, but it was totally visiable. I asked my DH to look at it because I was in total shock. Certain smells were turning my stomach today. 10 DPO- Light dull cramps today. POAS again to make sure with a FRER. BFP again! This time it was darker and very easy to see.
I really want to say GOD is GOOD! I am soooo thankful for this blessing. Everyone hang in here and have faith. It will happen!
I am 30 and DH is 29. Overall we have been trying for 17 months, 13 months of which we tried naturally; 3 months of me getting blood tests to pin point my exact ovulation date; and this month I was on FSH injections from CD2 - CD12. I have been told by my FS that I am at risk of twins due to my blood test at ovulation revealing extra high levels. I have scoured your website for 17 months and now I get to add my wonderful symptoms.
1-2 DPO - nothing 3 DPO - sore bbs, which is weird for me as this doesn't normally happen until 7 dpo. I think it may be because of the FSH elevating my hormones 4 DPO - sore bbs, and cm that looked sticky and clumpy (tmi) 5 DPO - bbs become even more sore, dry cm 6 DPO - bbs tender, swollen and sore. Had a bad dizzy spell today, dry cm 7 - 9 DPO - bbs tender, swollen and sore. BFN blood test, little creamy cm 10 DPO - funny pinching feelings in uterus and near ovaries, bbs still the same, little creamy cm 11 DPO - woke up with sniffly nose and sneezes, little creamy cm 12 DPO - Had a dream last night that I was pregnant, and we attended a 12 week ultrasound and was told everything looks good. Faint BFP using FMU. Bbs still the same, and with bright blue veins going to the nipples. Darker BFP in the afternoon after work!!! BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 13 DPO - Another BFP using FMU, bbs still the same, dizzy spell. Another dream that I was pregnant. Had a burst of energy in the morning that lasted about 1 hour, and then I was tired for the rest of the day. I was in bed by 8.30pm. 14 DPO - Had some funny cramping today, sort of like period cramps but not as severe. This scared me at first, and then I read that this is completely normal. Period due today, no sign of her, no spotting. Nice temp rise this morning. Another BFP

I am 34 and this was my second IVF. My first one ten years ago resulted in a BFP (triplets) then I a had a total SURPRISE bfp in 2004. After TTC again on our own, we learned not only did I have PCOS, Endometriosis but also blocked tubes. DH's SA was ok by HMO guidelines but we ended up having "rescue" ICSI done as his count was really low the day of egg retrevial. He had his appendix removed two weeks prior and the fever and infection they believe lowered his count. Here are my symptoms
We had ER done on 11/23 and ET on 11/26. It took seven days from transfer before any symptoms other than cramps began. If I am calculating it correctly that would be 10dpo right?
10dpo-mild heartburn, gassy and no cravings for anything sweet or chocolately.
11dpo-Worse heartburn, like reflux in my throat and mouth, craving chips, doritos, cheetos, no desire for chocolate.
12dpo-took an answer got a def line in about 1 minute, very gassy, huge veins across my chest, bbs and even down my arms.
13dpo-tested w/answer and it was darker than day before. veins are getting more prominent and running through aereolas. brutal heartburn. co worker decribes me as looking bloated, just as she did the last time i had a bfp and she didnt know about the ivf.
14dpo-tested am and pm. am test darker but def bfp almost right away. called and asked for early beta, RE said no! will have beta at 18dpo.
15dpo-18dpo still no cravings for sweets, nauseated, veins are popping up across my chest, neck, arms, Dh says I look like a human road map. Peeing at night begins and like clockwork when pregnant, regular BM.
wow this site helped so much in the horribly long TWW, now i would like to share my early signs of pregnancy with others, first of all i have a gorgeous 2 year old little girl i had no symptoms at all whilst pregnant with her, me and my fiance decided it would be nice to give her a little brother or sister so on my 2nd cycle we were so excited to find out i was pregnant so quick but it wasn't meant to be a week later i had a miscarriage i was 5 weeks along, we didn't try after that but also didnt prevent it and well i never.... i got pregnant straight away, we are excited and as expected a little nervous but any how here are some of my symptoms:
8th april........ BD 10th april...... BD 11th april...... Felt ovulation take place, BD 1dpo... tingling nipples and mild heartburn 2dpo... a little crampy kept coming and going throughout the day 3dpo... very very moody, cramping, sore boobs mainly up near my armpits 4dpo... headachey, almost snot like cm with a slight yellow tint colour 5dpo... headache, heartburn, horrible taste in mouth 6dpo... hot flushes, headache, snot like cm, and windy!! also tested today BFN!! dunno what else i was expecting that early 7dpo... very sore throat on one side 8dpo... shivers even though i was red hot (may not be a symptom as i've not been well since 7 dpo) 9dpo... BFP BFP BFP BFP, couldn't believe my eyes, tested for further 2 days after and all were bfp's

I am so glad to be able to share my TTC story. I love the twoweekwait site and obsessed over everyone's symptoms each time that I was in the 2WW.
This was my 3rd month TTC and I am 27 years old. For the past 2.5 months I have been taking my prenatal vitamin, extra B-vitamin supplement, Vitex, Green Tea, baby aspirin and extra vitamin C. We also used preseed and both my husband and myself loved it.
1-5 DPO: Not really any symptoms except that I was gassy. around 3DPO: I had sore nipples and this is still going on, however I also experience tender nipples before I get my period so I did not think anything of it. 8 DPO: still with the sore nipples and breasts are sore on the outer sides, again this is a symptom of my getting my period. 9-10 DPO: same symptoms as above also very hungry...hmmm 10 DPO: having odd pulling sensation in my lower back on the sides also in front (sort of feels like a pulled something during my workout at the gym but then it goes away) 11 DPO: Nothing to speak of except sore breasts 12 DPO: Bad AF cramps early morning (I had heard of people cramping during pregnancy but wondered if it felt different than AF cramps...it does feel the same) So sure that Im starting period I get up to take advil and dig for a pad. Decide to POAS. Faint BFP!! 13 DPO: Cramps...bought digital test and another generic....Digital says pregnant and other brand says BFP!!!
So honestly I did not really have may symptoms. The cramps really threw me off. Good luck to all!!!
During my first pregnancy, it was like I knew immediately that I was pregnant. 4 dpo I was peeing more often, but my surest sign was 7dpo when I had implantation bleeding. I tested negative 10 dpo, and positive on 14 dpo. Oh, and I guess I should mention I got pregnant on my first try.
During the last couple of months, I have been trying to conceive again. (My 1st is 11 months old.) I read some of the early symptoms women reported on this site, and I convinced myself I was pregnant due to frequent urination, metal mouth, strange dreams and congestion. Turns out I was not pregnant. Everyone told me you will know for sure the second time around because your body just recognizes the feeling. The second month we tried, I felt no symptoms at all and wasn't surprised when I got my period.
The third month, I finally decided to start taking my BBT. I recommend this to everyone. Anyway, I again felt absolutely no symptoms. None. No sore boobs, no implantation bleeding. Nothing. 28 dpo, I started getting menstrual cramps (no surprise since I "wasn't prego"). But then my period never came. I waited a couple more days and 16 dpo I tested positive.
So, for you ladies out there who are reading through everyone's symptoms and have convinced yourselves that you are not pregnant, I present to you a symptomless early 2nd pregnancy.
One last word of advice, the only thing we did differently the 3rd month is my hubby started taking a daily vitamin about 3 weeks before I ovulated. I think we tend to underestimate the importance of the man's nutrition when it comes to conception.
