Early Pregnancy Symptoms and Big Fat Positives

BFP by Sperm Meets Egg Plan

The Sperm Meets Egg Plan is a very specific protocol designed to help couples achieve pregnancy. Here you’ll find the stories of ladies who’ve followed the program and come out the other side with a BFP in lieu of a diploma. Not too shabby…!

Enjoy the stories. And if you should get your BFP courtesy of the Sperm Meets Egg Plan, be sure to send it our way!

10dpo BFP, Valentines Day Baby!

I'm so excited to be typing this! The past 10 days has certainly be a whirlwind of waiting, symptom checking, and anxiousness! I kept reading from various people that "symptoms can't occur before the embryo implants" and that it's "all in your head" but I'm here to say that's definitely wrong! What a wonderful thing our bodies can do! I truly believe that your body has several ways of telling you as soon as conception occurs. And that's where my story begins :) This is my second pregnancy, my daughter turned 2 in May. She was an oopsie (don't tell her that) with my ex husband while we were separated, so I don't recall many symptoms until I got my BFP. I do remember having diarrhea a few days before I found out, but thought nothing of it. This was my first month TTC with my fiance- we get married in 2 weeks! What a marriage present! 1-3 dpo- very vivid dreams each night. Started noticing a lot of creamy CM. 4 dpo- first night of insomnia. I was awake from 1am-3:30am and woke back up at 5:30am. Slight cramping and gas 5 dpo- I was so emotional this day! I got upset over a tiny thing and couldn't stop crying. It was bad! I was also very hungry. Insomnia. 6 dpo- I couldn't fall asleep, and had to wake up to eat a bowl of cereal at midnight because I was so hungry. Still seeing creamy CM and gas. 7dpo- Started noticing my bladder felt full more often. I had a wave of nausea after an afternoon nap that lasted about an hour. 8dpo- I slept better this day, but had loose BMs (not quite diarrhea) all day, which is out of the ordinary for me. I was exhausted! I went to sleep at 9:30 and actually slept through the night. 9dpo- My breasts weren't sore but felt fuller/heavier than normal. Lots of gas. When I went to bed, I had this not really cramping feeling but a lot of pressure in my abdomen. I just KNEW I was pregnant and decided to test in the morning. 10dpo- Woke up this morning to a BFP with my FMU!!! I hope this helps anyone who is unsure of their symptoms immediately! Don't dismiss anything out of the ordinary. Our bodies are so amazing! Now I'm off to buy a 'big sis' shirt for my daughter and surprise my fiance later! Due 2/14/16

BFP at 14DPO; no symptoms

After 8 months of trying, I'm so excited to announce that we are FINALLY pregnant!! What I did different this cycle: 1.Took FertilityTea with FertileCM and my Prenatal everyday. 2. Ate high Estrogen foods: soy products, etc 3. Exercised 5 days a week. 4. Went on two back to back trips = mood elevated! 5. Used Wondfo OPKs (instead of ClearBlue) and it's so much more accurate. Tested two times a day starting at Day 10! For women who do NOT typically have pre-menstrual symptoms like me, it's seems likely that you won't get symptoms for early pregnancy as well. Everyone's different so try not to compare :). 1DPO to 4DPO : nothing 5DPO to 12DPO : patches of Egg White Cervical mucus but no symptoms or spotting. 13DPO to 14DPO : small cramps, similar to my AF cramps. Temperatures stayed elevated. Tested BFP with FMU using FRER!!!!! I'm so excited to surprise my hubby :) Hope everyone has a awesome weekend! Baby dust to all!

Bfp after 2 miscarriages, 11 months ttc

I'm so excited to be able to finally post here after stalking the site for the last 11 months! (I know I wrote 10/11 dpo on the tests but I should be 11. Left one 7am right 11 pm) I am 21 years old, boyfriend is 28. I've always wanted kids young because I didn't come from so great of a family and wanted to raise them right, he didn't want to wait until he was 30. He's only got one testicle and low morphology count, I have dysmenorrhea and possibly endometriosis. I had a miscarriage in September but didn't know that's what it was at the time, I went to pee at Applebee's and a blob fell out of me that looked like a wet brown paper towel rolled into a ball (tmi). I thought maybe I had some period left or was starting early and didn't think anything else of it until months later when a girl at work had it happen to her and got the tissue analyzed. My second mc I knew I was pregnant for only 3 days before it felt like someone stabbed me in the tailbone, I couldn't stop throwing up and started bleeding very heavily. I also had purple vision and couldn't walk. Of course this was a Sunday so I had to go to the ER where they confirmed id lost the baby I was also told that because I am so young I should've been pregnant at 3-5 months and if I wasn't pregnant this month my obgyn wanted to start me on clomid which I was a little afraid of but couldn't tell you why My boyfriend had taken off work to get me pregnant (he tests medicine) and money started running low so this month was our last shot for a while and I figured we would do everything we could. We used the smep plan this month. It was my first month using ovulation predictor kits and the second I got a positive we BD and for the next 3 days as well. I always go to sleep right after just to keep everything inside for as long as I can. I've also been on prenatal gummies for about 3 months Also the last pregnancy was possibly a chemical as my lines never got darker, but now they are growing very dark :) Thanks for reading this book if you did My symptoms were- -Frequent urination around 8 and 9 dpo but I hadn't drank much at all -really uncomfortable sleeping to the point of almost crying because I couldn't find out why I felt uncomfortable. I wasn't hot or cold or sick. -was carsick at 9dpo which doesn't happen to me if I sit in the front of the car, I avoided looking at my phone because I thought I'd puke. Almost walked out of the new avengers movie to throw up but managed not to -had a headache for a string of days in a row that I could feel in my teeth -today my boobs hurt going down the steps and I thought ok ok I'll give this test thing a whirl. -I'd also had very vivid dreams, one of which was just me eating icecream and being covered in it because it came out of a fountain, another one I was watching my nipples darken in the mirror and telling everyone I was pregnant.

Vasectomy not reversed but now prenant with HCG 1,200 at 2ww!!

33 years ago I had a vasectomy after my 3rd child. Divorced & met my new love 15 years ago who is now 38. I'm now 63 years so it was time to make babies & of the two options it was either reversal or go for IVF. Elected for IVF. Didn't think it was possible but 6 months ago and after 20 minutes in an operating theatre a needle extracted millions of my swimmers. 100% painless, no after effects, bloody amazing. At same time the wife 'went under' & they retrieved 12 eggs. Our 1st try with a fresh 5day old blastocyst grown in the lab made it to 6 weeks with some medication assistance. The HCG at 2 weeks was 140, more good news at 6 weeks HCG was 1,500, BUT we were shattered as it just disappeared at ultra sound at 8 weeks. Our 2nd FET (frozen embryo transfer) ended up a zero result at 2ww. BUT 1 hour ago got the news that our 3rd FET after a 2ww was bloody positive & bloody fantastic. The reason for this post is that it is 1,200 HCG! This was 1 embryo, WTF (that's not an IVF acronym) no drugs, no tablets, no chemicals so does anyone know (other than a negative reason) is this normal? The missus has twins in her second line of cousins on both sides of family tree.

BFP 7 DPO after 3 chem and 1 miscarriage

Woke up feeling warm and with a cold sore ( first time)for the first time, tested and got a positive! Clear lines on first response, no squinting. bfp on cb digital. beta hcg that day 23, progrsterone 13.8! Repeating blood test today along with tsh test to see if they need to up my dose. What we did differently: i took a break/ rested. We had multiple iui, clomid and femara cycles before but nothing. Taking a break really helped plus preseed. Put my butt up in the air for an hour to keep my cervix soaked with spermies. Used smep.

Pregnant after 2 chemical pregnancies, 12 months trying

After 12 long months and two very early miscarriages (both in week 5), I am now pregnant with what feels like a strong pregnancy and am 6 weeks along. Still keep testing every day to reassure myself the lines are getting darker and not fainter like in my second pregnancy. Got a positive result on 10 DPO and the last one is from 21 DPO. Things I did different: Supplements / Meds: have been taking the following for a a few months, was a bit more regular this month - Cod liver oil - Folate 800 mg (not folic acid) - Raspberry leaf tea - 3 - 4 times a day - Fiber drinks - Guafenesin after cycle day 10, 1 a day for a week - Baking soda finger when opk started getting darker, and once more when I thought I was ovulating - Made sure husband took his multi and drank oj Other things we made sure to do were to avoid oral sex, have heard it may kill sperm. I also put my lunette cup in after sex and left it in for a few hours. This time I lay on my stomach with my butt up after learning I have a retroverted uterus. After getting a positive on 10 dpo I was cautiously optimistic because of my past miscarries, and was very worried when I saw some spots of blood. It was a weekend so couldn't get in and get my progesterone or hcg levels checked out so I just used a progesterone suppository from my last time. Was able to get my blood work done on the monday and again on wednesday and saw the levels rising appropriately and a healthy progesterone. Still taking the supplements since it's not advisable to stop all of a sudden, maybe didn't need them but wanted to be safe. Didn't have too much symptoms, was actually pretty sure I was out this month. Just felt tired and boobs were sore.

Is this real?! 8 months and finally a BFP!

We have been trying for 8 months now and this Sunday we finally got our BFP! We both just stopped worrying and knew that if it was going to happen it was going to happen no matter what we did. I ended up ovulating 5-7 days before I normally do. My husband and I are both teachers and lucky for us I ovulated during our spring break! We had plenty of free time to BD! I have only known that I am pregnant for about 2 days. I don't really have any symptoms yet. My chest is a little sore and more cm than usual, but I am still feeling great. I am about 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant right now. I go to the doctor tomorrow to confirm everything. I am still in shock and we are so excited about this pregnancy! I used First Response and the line was their immediately. It showed up even before the control line had a chance to show up. I took two just in case :) I am so ready for this adventure! For everyone out their trying just keep your heads up and know that your time will come!

I'm so excited and still in shock I am able to share my story with all of you!! I've been on this website for the last 7months while TTC. DH and I are both 25 and decided we are ready to become parents. We have been married two years! TTC is like a job, last month I actually started to lose hope but I just started praying harder and this month God blessed me with a BFP. MY DH even had an appt to get her sperm analysis so we could make sure that wasn't a problem! Here are symptoms: 1-5DPO: 1 DPO had very thick, sticky discharge (never experienced before so I just knew that had to be a sign) slight cramping, 2-3 DPO had terrible diarrhea (not sure if symptom or if I was sick/food poisoning), very tired, boobs were not sore yet 6-7DPO: little more cramping, boobs slightly sore only when pushed on them 8DPO: took test in am on internet cheapie. Faint line appeared, couldn't believe my eyes so I posted pic in "am I pregnant" blog and got a huge response everyone thought I was pregnant. Sore boob, slight cramping and actually had light brown discharge (prayed it was implantation bleeding) 9DPO: took another test faint line on Internet cheapie, BFN on DG TEST. Light brown discharge when wiped or check cervix position. Cervix high medium softness and closed 10DPO: faint positive on both Internet cheapie and DG TEST. DH still would not believe I was pregnant! The brown discharge is gone. Slight cramping. Hungry. Exhausted 11DPO: BFP!!! 12DPO: BFP on clear blue digital! DH believed it when I showed him test that said "pregnant" lol. Things we did different. Took a break from Preseed and soft cups. Used egg meets sperm plan, DIGITAL OPKS, BBT temp( which showed a slow rise after ovulation) Hope this helps all trying to conceive! Wishing all of you the best of luck and baby dust! Hoping to see many more BFP stories! Praying for happy healthy 9 months :)

Preseed, Smep BFP at 9DO

So, I got my bfp and like many ladies on here, I wanted to share my info for anyone who needs some light reading material while we obsess over that 2nd line! I am 37, my husband is 38 and we have a wonderful 18 month old. I went off bc in October, but we didn't "try" until this month. We followed the SMEP, but not to the letter b/c I have a 30 day cycle and it was getting harder to comply! We used preseed each time and I elevated slightly after each time we bd to stack the deck. Symptom wise, I had very little CM except for my fertile period. I used opks, but always have a 2nd line with those so it makes it a little harder to interpret. We bd'd on cd9, cd10, cd12, cd14, cd16, cd17, & cd18 and I est that I likely O'd on cd18. My symptoms and tests are as follows: 1dpo nothing 2dpo thick white cm but not abundant 3 dpo extreme gas 4 -5 dpo nothing to speak of, no cm 6 dpo twinges in abdomen but not one side or the other, extremely exhausted, purple veins on bbs, chest, and onto the front of my shoulders, twinges in abdomen, no cm 7 dpo gas, emotional - felt like crying, very very tired, twinges in abdomen, no cm 8 dpo bbs felt heavy and felt like outgrowing bra, felt like i might cry for something silly, decreased appetite, a little bloated, heartburn, yellow cm but very little 9 dpo bbs heavy, heartburn, emotional again w/brief but instant tears for no apparent reason. took a dollar tree hpt and bfp with pm urine. used the same urine for an easy@home test from amazon - bfn. immediately nauseous and gagging over and over again. 10 dpo woke throughout the night with nausea and tested with fmu (extremely concentrated) with frer got a faint bfp, tested again with easy@home and a darker positive well within time frame. Still keep pulling out the tests to look at them, not sure what to do next! Good luck to all:)

BFP at 11 dpo

Hi Everyone! I live for this site during the TWW so I had to post. We have been TTC #2 since November 2014. I felt so much less pressure this time around than the first time we TTC (DS is 17 months old), and I was prepared for it to take much longer as I'm 38 now. I'm still in a bit of disbelief, but it seems we have been blessed with another baby! I'm so grateful and just finished praying for a healthy pregnancy, and for all the mamas who are trying to get their BFPs. It will happen for you!!! This month, we used the SMEP, Pre-seed (this was our first month using it this go-round--it worked for us last time too!), and I got acupuncture right at ovulation time. I can't recommend Pre-seed highly enough. That stuff is MAGIC! Here's the DPO breakdown: CD 8: BD (per SMEP) CD 10 BD CD 11: +OPK BD CD12: O day I think! BD CD 13 BD CD 14 BD 3-7 dpo: "Typical" 2ww symptoms: gassy, bloated, irritable, impatient ;) NO unusual CM or anything else of note. 8 dpo: Ungodly exhausted in the evening. Having a toddler is exhausting, so I didn't find this so out of the ordinary...but it was definitely tired on a new level, like going to sleep right after putting my son to bed at 7. 9 dpo: awakened in the night by SHARP stabbing pains right in the middle of my uterus. Actually took my breath away. Hmmm...I've experienced cramping in the 2ww before and not been pregnant, but that was weird. 10 dpo: Began feeling nauseous, sensitive to smells, still very very tired. I also started peeing like crazy. After the 3rd time I woke up in the night to pee (3 a.m. on 11 dpo), I decided to test, because I wasn't sleeping anyway. I was amazed to see a line on the FRER! I woke my poor husband up to show it to him. And I've been awake since then, praying and too excited to go back to sleep. :) I drank some more water and took a CBdigi--Pregnant 1-2 weeks! I give thanks for this blessing. Best of luck and baby dust to all of you mamas trying. If you haven't tried Pre-seed, it can really do the trick! :)
