My RE told me not to take the baby aspirin while TTC. He says that it inhibits prostaglandins which are needed for implantation. I have heard the opposite from many people who say that their docs say to take it while TTC. I am not sure which school of thought is correct. My RE wanted me to resume the baby aspirin as soon as I got a positive pregnancy test. I did start taking it again after I got my BFP and I lost the pregnancy while on baby aspirin. I do have a clotting disorder though. I think most docs only want their patients on baby aspirin during pregnancy if there is a clotting issue.
I am so sorry for your loss :(

Per my Dr's instruction, I took baby aspirin until my 3rd trimester.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Yes I was told to take baby asprin while ttc. It can help thicken your lining to make it more favorable for implantation. It also helps if you possibly have a blood clotting disorder. Once you are on it, however, if you get a bfp make sure you continue taking them. I have that regiment, plus metformin and lovenox injections. Hope that helps!

If you had an ectopic, the baby aspirin wouldn't have affected it - it wouldn't cause it or prevent it. It would have been ectopic either way and therefore you would have miscarried. It wasn't your fault, just a cruel twist of fate. I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
