The old implantation bleed dilemma!

Postby jemma87 » Mon Aug 27, 2018 4:28 pm

Hi all, just wanted an opinion to keep me sane the next 5 days until I can POAS - I can’t test early as had hcg trigger shot so may get a false pos. Basically yesterday at 6dpo I noticed some pink-tinged cervical mucus when I wiped after peeing, which has continued overnight and this morning but is now more of a brown color. It’s not enough to need a liner. For the 24 hours before this started I had been having some twinges/cramps in my lower pelvis which have now stopped, as well as a metallic taste in my mouth (actually thought I had bit my tongue and it was bleeding). But this morning all these symptoms have disappeared and I’m worried I’m just getting a super early period even though I have never been early before. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

My implantation bleeding was about 9dpo, all brown. Very light. Lasted overnight and was gone in the morning. What you describe sounds promising! Hoping it is your BFP!

Implantation bleeding is hard to predict. You're right, haha. It's a really confusing situation to be in. I would suggest waiting it out. You could always consult a professional. However, I personally think you might just have a shot! I really hope you get a BFP. Sending you lots of prayers and love.

It could be implantation bleeding as well. So keeps your hopes high. I hope things work for you. Just knows that staying positive is really important. Wait till 11dpt. After which test! I hope the results are good. Good luck to you.
