Small baby?

Postby Mell81012 » Tue Jun 24, 2014 11:27 pm

Hi everyone
I am 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and i had an ultrasound two weeks ago where they told me my baby was measuring small.
They said i have a matured placenta, an they also said that his abdomen was measuring too small.
His head is in the 10th percentile but his abdomen is measuring below the 3rd percentile.
I am really worried now and i dont quite understand it all.
I have another ultrasound on Friday to see if he is actually growing. My midwife mentioned an induction if he hasnt caught up.

I am really concerned now and was just wandering if anyone has had anything similar to this happen? stories? or advice?

PS i also have GD, im not sure if that could have anything to do with it but yeah.
I also have extremely low iron levels.

TIA xx
